Safe Exercises…What I Came Out With Was So Much More
I am so impressed with Jill as a pelvic floor therapist! She’s kind, understanding, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about pelvic floor health. I went into it with the primary goal to learn how to do effective exercises that are pelvic floor friendly, and what type of exercises to avoid. What I came out with was so much more. Every session was educational and uplifting. She teaches techniques related to proper breathing, proper form when lifting, and the importance of maintaining good digestive health, just to name a few. Jill is also very responsive and timely with written communication throughout the process. Her holistic approach to female wellness is unmatched.
Breast Ultrasound With a Sprinkle of Postpartum!
I went to Jill for therapeutic ultrasound for clogged ducts and was super impressed! I got in contact with her on a Saturday morning and she was able to see me that night for immediate treatment (despite being at a PT conference all day). I was already feeling better by our follow-up appointments on Sunday. During the visits she also sprinkled in some additional postpartum PT exercises and knowledge which I appreciated.
Invaluable Support For My C-Birth
Jill has been an invaluable support system for me as I navigate the postpartum journey following a cesarean birth. Her expertise and guidance have been instrumental in my recovery process, providing me with insights into my body's changes and needs during this time. As an orthopedic PT myself, I still found it incredibly helpful to have another set of eyes and hands assess my movement patterns, help me realize where I am holding tension, and how to effectively work on it. Step By Step Plan for My Diastasis Recti
Jill was fantastic at guiding and supporting my health after having twins! I was navigating significant diastasis recti as well as pain in my back and pelvis. Jill created a step by step plan to get me back to moving pain free. It has been tremendous! So grateful for the many tools. Jill is such a talented pelvic floor therapist! I was referred to her by my doula when I began experiencing more pain & discomfort during my 2nd pregnancy. From my phone consultation throughout my visits she was knowledgeable, kind, & compassionate. Every session was tailored to my specific needs and concerns. I can’t explain how amazing our birth prep session was. My husband was able to accompany me and she did a fantastic job helping him to prepare to best support me during labor & delivery. I was able to successfully deliver unmedicated and I attribute that to her preparation. I highly recommend her if you have any pelvic floor issues or want to feel better prepared for L&D.
Life Changing; Incontinence Gone!
Jill truly helped to change my life. I was referred to her during my second pregnancy, so that I could be evaluated and maybe get some help preparing for my next birth (VBAC). Not only was she incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about those things, she helped me with some other chronic issues I have been having! Since going to see her I don't have any issues with incontinence.
Great Post-menopausal Resources, Tools, and Exercises!
I was experiencing some pelvic floor health issues and found Jill after a friend suggested that I try pelvic floor therapy. As an athlete and daughter of a physician, I thought I knew a lot about my body and its issues, but Jill taught me so much new information! I am older and post-menopausal, so have issues related to low hormone levels and age as well scar tissue from a c-section and gall bladder removal that are impacting my pelvic floor health.
Jill taught me techniques and exercises to help improve my pelvic floor health, reduce the scar tissue from my surgeries, and osteo-arthritis. She also had great resources and suggestions for finding physicians and tools to help continue improving my pelvic floor health once I completed my sessions with her. After 3 months working with Jill in her office, a lot of the issues that I was initially concerned about when I began seeing her were resolved. I have continued to use the knowledge I gained from our sessions to maintain my pelvic floor health and continue to maintain and grow the progress we made during the in-person sessions.
